The future of entertainment

What is the future of entertainment. We all remember, right? Remember black and white? Remember VHS. Remember antennas? Remember standard definition. Remember 2d? Yes, that will be said maybe 6-7 years from now, and I'll tell you why. 1. No growth in DVD 2. Too many bootleggers 3. Better Experience 4. Sony No growth in DVD. DVDs are dead if you watch commercials for movies you'll notice they may not even say the word DVD. Another big trend is that Blu-ray(the next format) discs come with DVDs. If you push Blu-ray you push a better quality, you push people buying Blu-ray discs and Blu-ray players. You can charge $20+ for a new Blu-ray title while only being able to charge 10+ for a DVD title. Studios are reaping more profits off of Blu-rays. Too many bootleggers. How easy is it to get a bootlegged DVD? Now, how easy is it to get a bootlegged Blu-ray. I don't even think bootleggers know what a Blu-ray is. Better Experience. Imagine no more 2 dimensions. You look at tv you see 3 dimensions. You're able to see depth. Imagine 3d boxing, football, basketball. Better yet imagine a 3d Porno. Wow, you talk about about being addicted to porn before. 3d will lead to one of the best experiences and combined with HD will led to a new generation of satisfaction being average. Sony. Sony has everything to gain. Sony owns the Blu-ray format and gets paid from every Blu-ray. Blu ray can store 25 gb on one side 50 dual, and that's more than enough for high quality blu ray movies. Sony's PS3 has the ability to play 3d movies, so the only thing needed is 3d tvs which are already being sold. Once 3d is launched Sony has everything to gain, with other gaming systems like xbox and wii falling into the likes with their predecessors. LCD tvs are being sold at huge discounts to clear out the way for the new and definitely not the final frontier- 3d.
